Fall Decor

The summer months are coming to an end and soon the fall season will begin. This change of season is bittersweet, no more hot summer days, but we can welcome beautiful cool days with beautiful fall foliage and pumpkin spice will be putting a smile on many faces. Fall decor is also a big part of the fall season. Here are some tips on decorating this fall.

Art

Fall decor should be rich in brown, beige, gold, green, and some red to represent the upcoming seasonal changes. Unlike bright and bold colors of summer, fall is more calming and assuring. Wilderness, outdoors, and nature photos or artwork will give your home a fall appeal.

Lighting

Industrial style lighting or leaf design lighting is a great addition to your fall decor. The light summer lighting won't work well during the short fall days and longer nights. When you switch your lighting to suit the fall season you will create a warmer ambiance and a more welcoming environment.

Table Decor

Fall decor isn't complete without table decor. Wooden sculptures or fruit sculptures will give your tablescape a fall season feel. Table decor is especially important because the weather will be cooler and nights longer so people are more inclined to stay indoors more. There will be more dinner parties and let's not forget Thanksgiving dinner. Your dining area should be an area where people will want to eat, drink, and be merry.
